First time in years I can finally say... my S4 is error code free! Fixed a recent misfire and replaces the bank 2 sensor 2 O2 sensor. My Evap Purge Valve was acting up, but I put some Seafoam solution in it and to my surprise that cleared up that code. Let's see how long this last.... **Update 11/30/2012** Ok well that didn't last long... just got a new code for the Bank 2 sensor 1 O2 sensor. I knew I should have replaced both. Oh well I was just trying to get past emissions at the time so another fix for another time.

Hey I just wanted to say thanks. I live in Arlington Wa. and have been struggling with a random misfire issues. I am not one to really take my cars to be worked on but I was running out of ideas. Reading through your blogg I have new found faith that I can fix this issue. I had the coil packs replaced a couple of years ago so I ruled that out. Now I am seeing that these could still be an issue. Also the spark plug gap. I will take your lessons learned and see what happens.

Thanks for checking out my site! The misfires are just so frustrating so I'm right with you. So many things can cause them but man when you finally do track it down that S4 love comes right back at you.
